Rachel Gildner
Welcome, Flagstaff! I am the owner of Peace Piano Studio.
I grew up in the small, coastal town of Morehead City, North Carolina where I began taking piano lessons at the age of 5.
My first piano teacher, Miss Jan, inspired creativity and expression even in her young students. She emphasized the importance of connection through music. This is what I aspire to do with my students today.
After studying classical piano repertoire for over 10 years, I attended the Florida State University to continue my music education on the Horn. Since graduating with my degree in Music, I have taught a rigorous schedule of over 40 private and group piano lessons a week. Throughout my career, I have created and ran successful piano summer camps, played services for local churches, tutored students on piano in Nicaragua, and been active with my personal practice and growth.
I moved to Flagstaff, Arizona in 2017. Currently, I'm offering piano lessons from ages 5-100 years old out of our studio Peace Piano Studio. In addition to teaching, I enjoy singing and chanting on my harmonium, being in nature, eating delicious foods, creating clothing and herbal medicine, and spending time with my friends and family.
