Testimonials
My daughter Ava was fortunate to take lessons from Ms. Gildner for almost two years. She started relatively late, at 8 years old, and was a reluctant student at first. I could not have asked for a better teacher to introduce her to piano. By all means, my daughter is a typical 10 year old, so it never seizes to amaze me that I do not have to remind her to do her 5 practices a week every week. Ms. Gildner forms a special bond with her students, and teaches with kindness and humor. She manages to instill a sense of pride and enjoyment in playing the instrument, so even mundane assignments don't feel like a chore. She is a truly gifted teacher and a delightful person, and we will miss her very much.

When I began taking lessons with Rachel I was in between songs and hadn't found something new that I would enjoy. She picked up on my interests quickly and suggested a book from a composer that she was obviously very passionate about. I fell in love with the music and thoroughly enjoyed working through the pieces with her. I was fortunate to have Rachel as my instructor and I would gladly recommend her to anyone seeking lessons.

Our 6-year old piano enthusiast took lessons with Ms. Gildner starting at the age of 4. Ms. Gildner’s passion and enthusiasm for teaching piano were instrumental in developing a life-long love of this instrument for our daughter. She thoroughly enjoyed her lessons with her, and always spoke (rather speaks) fondly of her first piano teacher! For parents trying to inculcate love of playing music in their little ones, Ms. Gildner is the absolute best! She will have fun with them, while trying to teach them to focus their wandering minds. Ohio’s loss is your gain!

Rachel is a great teacher of piano lessons. She is very patient, organized and explains things in an easy way to understand. Her knowledge of and passion for playing the piano is evident in her guidance during the lessons. She is always prepared for each lesson. She gives positive suggestions and never makes you feel like any questions are silly. Her smile and caring attitude is always appreciated.

I had the privilege of taking piano lessons from Ms. Rachel Gildner for approximately a year and a half. During that
time period I experienced growth as a piano player and a deeper understanding of musical concepts. I needed an instructor who could be patient with me, but also had the ability to figure out the best way to motivate me as well.
Ms. Gildner accomplished both. I appreciated having her as my instructor, but also the friendship that evolved from
our lessons together.
